Community Projects and Impact
Community-rooted delivery with the capacity to grow
Rewire 360 is a Lancashire-based education and training provider delivering English language and vocational learning, information, advice and guidance, employability support, community integration, and health and wellbeing activities.
We work with refugees, people seeking asylum, ethnic-minority communities, women, economically inactive adults and people facing barriers to education, training and employment.
Our portfolio includes programmes supported by Sport England, Lancashire County Council and The National Lottery Community Fund. This experience has enabled us to develop strong delivery systems, community referral routes and trusted relationships with learners and local organisations.
SPORT ENGLAND FUNDED PROJECT
Sport England: Active Pathways
Active Pathways combined practical English language learning with physical activity and health education for ethnic-minority women across Accrington and Blackburn.
The programme helped participants become more active, understand healthy lifestyle choices and confidently access local facilities. Community champions also supported the continuation of walking and physical activities beyond the funded programme.
This project demonstrates Rewire 360’s ability to integrate education, community engagement and physical activity within one coordinated programme.
LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL PROGRAMME
Lancashire County Council SPICE
Through Lancashire County Council’s SPICE programme, Rewire 360 delivered informal, community-based English language learning, primarily supporting refugees and people seeking asylum.
The programme combined practical English with confidence-building, community integration and information, advice and guidance.
The project strengthened our experience of working with referral partners and delivering responsive provision for people who may find mainstream services difficult to access.
NATIONAL LOTTERY COMMUNITY FUND
The National Lottery Community Fund: Awards for All
Our Awards for All programme provided accessible English language learning and community support for adults experiencing language, confidence and social-integration barriers.
The project strengthened Rewire 360’s community engagement model and demonstrated our ability to encourage sustained participation while responding to learners’ individual needs.
An integrated delivery model
Rewire 360 provides more than classroom learning. Depending on the needs of learners, commissioners and partners, our programmes can combine:
English language and communication
Vocational and essential skills
Numeracy for everyday life and employment
Information, advice and guidance
Employability and confidence-building
Health and wellbeing
Community visits and local orientation
Volunteering opportunities
Referral to education, employment & specialist services
Learners can receive an initial assessment, an individual learning plan and regular progress reviews. Progression planning is incorporated throughout delivery to support movement into further education, accredited qualifications, volunteering, employment support or other suitable opportunities.
